It may seem a bit schizo that Spring 2010 Fashion Week already took place when Fall is just settling in. Such is the manic world of fashion. Get ready for slouchy pants, icy whites and whimsical waves, as that’s going to be part of the rage come April. Hold your horses though. I’m focusing on the current race ahead.Aware that no one has gone unscathed from the harsh economy, designers interpreted the somber mood this season showing fabrics in earth tones and nudes. The makeup palette didn’t stray far from that. Here are three of the season’s hottest beauty trends.1. Deep Side Part (seen at Donna Karen, Bottega Vaneta)

This romantic look is reminiscent of the 30's. To create fullness at the crown, part your hair to the opposite side of your natural part. Keep it sleek by spraying your comb with hairspray and gently combing down flyaways. This romantic look is reminiscent of the 30’s. 2. Rose Lips (seen at Carolina Herrera, Givenchy)

Makeup artist Diane Kendal used a lip brush to apply MAC lipstick in Twig, a brown-based matte pink. She finished with a dab of MAC dazzleglass gloss in Local Colour on the center of lips to create the illusion of a fuller pout.

3. Rock and Roll Eyes (seen at Marc Jacobs, Behnaz Sarafpour)

To achieve this smoldering eye, brush a dark shadow (try charcoal, deep plum or navy) on lids. Then apply a kohl liner, drawing into the waterlines of the eyes.
