You recently saw my daytime chic look featured on the invitation for the big event I’m hosting next Thursday. Click here to RSVP!

It took an afternoon of hair, makeup and a shopping spree at Ann Taylor to create my final look. The whole experience was documented should you want to do it yourself.

I started the beautification at Anthony Cristiano Salon located in the Trump Hotel.

First was hair. I wanted an effortless style with a bit of edge for daytime. We decided a messy bun was the perfect fit.

The stylist spritzed in Klorane Dry Shampoo to give my locks more oomph and hold. Then she pulled my hair into a pony and organically wrapped the tail into a bun securing with bobbi pins.

Next was makeup. To achieve “daytime chic” we went for fresh skin, light lips and defined but not heavy lashes. We did cheat a little adding a few individual lashes for the photos.

Here’s a list of the products used to create the look:
Benefit They’re Real mascara; IT Cosmetics Brow Pencil; By Terry Light Perfecting Foundation Brush; Pur Minerals CC Cream; Benefit Fakeup; Nuxe Oil; By Terry Baume de Rose; Naked Princess Gloss. P.S. These are some of the brands in the latest Birchbox.

The final stop was Ann Taylor. I perused the racks looking for the perfect outfit. I ended up pairing this high-low skirt with the leopard print cap sleeve knit tee. The tortoise necklace added brightness and texture and the cage black booties kept the vibe cool and youthful

Here’s the final look!
