All I can say is Wow! When I think back to when I first met with The Bump Club founder Lindsay Pinchuk (she was pregnant with her first, and I didn’t even have kids yet), we instantly connected. We were both early in our businesses and this meeting, which was originally just a simple way to network, has turned into a wonderful friendship and a business relationship. 5 years and 4 kids (between the two of us) later, we were wrapping up yet another Beauty Bash event in Chicago. This one was held at 1st Ward Events at The Chop Shop, and we welcomed 100 moms and moms-to-be for a night of beauty, food, drinks, giveaways and fun. Here are the event highlights!

.

I’ve always loved a good freebie, so you can always expect a TBG event to include a hefty gift bag. Our Beauty Bash is now known for having awesome gift bags, and we hooked everyone up with amazing full-size beauty goodies like Clarins skincare, it cosmetics mascara, amika hair product, dentek kids floss, makeup from jouer and evelyn iona, Aveeno baby products, Rosebud salve and more. Guests also walked away with special coupons for deeply discounted services like a blowout at DreamDry.

Attendees enjoyed hand treatments from Clarins along with additional skincare samples.

One of the biggest hits of the night was the signature mocktails and cocktails created by Pint, a new juice-delivery service in Chicago. We love that they create fresh juices with locally sourced ingredients that are delivered to our door. Plus, they offer healthy, yummy blends just for kids, too! My family is now a regular customer and we look forward to our juice delivery every week.

Everyone loved the food, which was provided by Door Dash, a new food delivery service that’s sort of like an Uber for delivery, and The Chop Shop. P.S. If you haven’t tried Door Dash yet, I highly recommend. We ordered from Kumas Corner the other night, and the service was great. As for The Chop Shop, their brunch is the best. It’s become our weekend spot.

You didn’t have to show up wearing makeup because makeup artists from it cosmetics were on hand to make everyone feel and look their prettiest.

DreamDry, is the hottest new blowout bar to open in Chicago, and we had stylists there to give our guests all kinds of styles from braids to waves.

We are huge fans of the Dana Spa at the Dana Hotel, and all of these moms and moms-to-be especially appreciated the pampering treatments including manicures, massages and brow waxes. We often don’t allow ourselves the time to enjoy these spa services, but these are the ones that make such a difference in how we feel.

That’s me doing my presentation on my top beauty buys for moms.

One of my favorite parts of the event is our raffle. Each year we have incredible prizes, and this year a lucky mamma walked away with a free night’s stay and a spa day at the Dana Hotel. While this prize value is valued at over $500, I think scoring a night of restful sleep is priceless.

That’s Lindsay and I at the end of the night, relieved and proud that we worked hard and pulled off another successful Beauty Bash. Until next time!
