There’s a reason there are tons of magazine articles and TV segments devoted to finding your perfect pair of jeans. Fit can be tricky. When we heard about a new kiosk going up in malls that literally tells you what jeans will look good on you, we had to share the news.

MeAlity Size Matching Stations may look like airport security checkpoints, but they’re not undressing you. You step into them and they figure out which brands carried at that mall will look best on your body type. The technology has a body-measuring scanner that uses small antennas with low-power radio waves (we’re talkin’ less power than 1/1000th of a typical cell phone call) to measure every curve of your physique. You stand in the scanner for 10-15 seconds, fully-clothed and it compares your measurements to the sizing of particular clothing brands. Then, you can take your matches to stores for a successful day of shopping. This new technology is able to match about 95% of the population with apparel that’ll fit and it’s totally free to shoppers.

Listen up Chicagoans: kiosks are coming to Water Tower Mall in Chicago, Northbrook Court Mall in Northbrook, and Orland Square Mall in Orland Park. To see where a kiosk is near you, visit www.me-ality.com.
