Your beauty products are like your team of personal assistants so make ’em work! These are our favorite items that pull double-duty and have proven to be invaluable.

1. Benefit’s High Brow Glow Lifting Pencil. This pencil was created as an under-brow highlighter to make your brows seem  lifted and brighter. I’ve been able to use this pencil all over my face, literally — from the corner of my eyes to my cheekbones, and of course, under my brows. The champagne pink shade is flattering on almost every skin tone.

2. CoverGirl’s Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner. Everyone needs a black eyeliner pencil no matter what your beauty routine is. This pencil has a smudging eraser on the end, and the cap automatically sharpens the pencil each time you open it. In addition to helping you line your waterline, the smuding eraser makes it really easy to use this pencil as an eyeshadow, too. See what I’m talking about in the above photo!

3. Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick. I found an intensely pigmented color that’s nearly impossible to mess up. Yes, it’s a pretty blush, but I also apply as a lipstick that lasts for hours.

In reality, a lot of these swaps work with different products! Any kind of highlighter pulls double (or triple) duty as a brow lifter, inner-eye (or entire eye) shadow, and traditional cheek highlighter. Most eyeliner can easily be smudged into a stay-proof eyeshadow, and I’ve had a lot of fun turning different lip products into cheek products (and vice versa). My one piece of advice? Don’t rub lipgloss all over your cheeks.
