A lot has happened to me and The Beauty Girl since publishing my very first post in 2009. I’ve become a wife, a mom (two times over!). I’ve achieved one of my top professional goals, to appear on TODAY, which I’ve now done twice. I’ve met great women through my personal consultations and parties, and I’ve adjusted to the thrills, fears and challenges of being a one-woman show, not knowing what tomorrow may bring.
I’ve evolved with the blog and haved learned a lot about blogging. Looking back at my inaugural post, I told you what I aimed to do with my site, but I realized I never even introduced myself. Whoops! Well, today I’m formally introducing you to my new look. This is my fourth redesign (you can see where I started and where I’m at now in the photos below). This makeover has been a year in the making, and I’m anxious and excited to finally share the big reveal. I hope you agree the site still feels like me. It’s just a tidier, airier version with some added bells and whistles like the "Shop" category at the top of the page. That’s where you can shop my favorites. The whole point was to give you an experience that’s easy to navigate and pleasing to the eye. And, of course, I’ll continue to do my part, striving to deliver the goods that will keep you coming back for more.
