Two of my go-to date night looks are “sexy librarian” (glasses, bun and a red lip) and “sexy snow white” (shimmer eye, flawless skin and berry lip).
The latter is what I’ll be wearing this Valentine’s day. Whenever I do a shimmery eye, I wear my Acuvue contacts because this look can get lost behind glasses. One of my favorites is easy to do and works on everyone.
All you need is to mix these two eye shadows: By Terry Ombre Blackstar Color Fix Cream Eyeshadow in Misty Rock and By Terry Ombre Blackstar Color Fix Cream Eyeshadow in Ombre Mercure. Both women in the above photos are wearing these glam yet earthy colors, which you can layer and blend to create your perfect shade. Misty Rock (shown in photo on left side of hand) is a coppery bronze and Ombre Mercure (shown on right side of hand) is a pinkish chocolate. Both are laced with a soft shimmer that gives them a dimensional glistening finish. So depending on what angle the light hits the lids, different colors in the shadows stand out. They flatter all skin tones and the creamy texture glides on easily, no matter how crepey the skin. I also love that they’re water resistant. So if you’ve got a hot date for Valentine’s Day, you can makeout with confidence knowing he’ll make a move, but your shadow won’t.
