When I’m not heading to a morning meeting, I’m dropping my kids at school. The temptation to slip on workout clothes is real. I’m not putting them on with the intention of working out. The draw is that they’re comfortable, durable and more fashion forward than ever, thanks to the recent athletic wear trend. That said, I do my best to not fall into this trap, and what’s made it easy to take my casual style up a notch is the introduction of what I’m calling the elevated sweatshirt. The latest sweatshirts are fitted and filled with personality like the one I’m wearing in this photo.

I lived in this Sundry sweatshirt this summer (this one is on sale for $50!). I layered over a crisp, white button-down, and as we transition into fall, it’ll stay front and center in my closet.

I paired it with similar distressed Henry and Belle jeans and these Loeffer and Randall sneakers. If you’re obsessed with white sneakers like me, check out this story where I share more of my favorite white sneakers. (My sunnies are Rag and Bone).
