Get Adele's Louboutin Grammy Mani
Feb 15, 2012
We expected Adele to be this year's Grammy darling, but who knew her nails would be the topic that blew up on twitter. The singer surprised us sporting dagger-shaped nails inspired by Louboutins. Here's how to do it yourself, courtesy of Nailtini.
1. Trying to paint the underside of your natural nail might be difficult and too messy to work with, even for skilled professionals. Use artificial nails or tips instead. Trim or file your natural nail down so it can’t be seen over the tip of your finger. Size artificial nails to all 10 fingers and set aside.
2. Paint the underside of each nail/tip with two coats of a classic red lacquer and allow the polish to dry completely. Apply 1-2 drops of nail glue to artificial nail and press onto nail bed holding in place until it sets. Repeat for all nails. Quick tip: Be careful not to use too much – you don’t want it seeping out the sides.
3. Paint tops of nails with your choice color, and then embellish with rhinestones or a glitter topcoat like Nailtini Sparkler.

Iris Apfel Brings Her Spunk To MAC
Jan 13, 2012
Jewelry designer, interior designer, fashion icon extraordinaire, Iris Apfel, has teamed up with MAC Cosmetics to create a makeup collection inspired by her eccentric style. The spunky lip, eye and nail colors ooze Apfel—especially the hot pink, orange and red lipsticks. There’s a clear emphasis on color (think teal eye shadow and magenta nail lacquer) but there are a few nudes laced throughout to balance the quirky colors. At first glance the collection looks like it’d be suited for a younger crowd, but hey—the ninety year old is painting on the fun and we think she looks damn good doing it. posted by Cody

How To Recreate Shakira's Hair Dos
Nov 21, 2011At the Latin Grammy Awards, Shakira made my best hair list. The award-winner and performer sported three different looks—all glamorous—courtesy of Wella Professionals Celebrity Stylist Andy LeCompte, whose a-list clientele also includes Megan Fox, Jennifer Lopez and Penelope Cruz. Below are step-by-step instructions to recreate each ‘do on your own.
EFFORTLESS UPDO
1. Wash and condition your hair with a volumizing shampoo/conditioner.
2. Then, apply a styling crème and blow-dry the hair with a large round brush.
3. Spray hair with a texturizing spray to create matte texture and the slightly undone look.
4. Gather strands into a loose, natural piece-y chignon and pin it with a mixture of bobby pins and long T pins.
5. Pull down a few loose pieces and curl them with a curling iron.
6. Set your 'do with a few spritzes of hairspray.

Would You Wear The Latest Celeb Fashion Trend -- the "hand bracelet"?
Nov 5, 2011
I remember the days of playing Pretty Pretty Princess—whoever stacked up the most
jewels by the end of the game was crowned the prettiest princess. Little girls and women alike find ways to ice anything and everything on their bodies. From our crowns and ears, to our necks and fingers, to even our Queen V’s, no area is left unfrosted. But unless you’re a queen, or a 4 year old playing Pretty Pretty Princess, wearing a tiara, 10 rings, 7 cuffs, 3 necklaces and a pair of earrings is just downright tacky. While Kim Kardashian
drips herself in more diamonds in the pursuit of her fairytale ending, us common folk have the celebrity jewelry trend, “hand bracelets,” to keep our princess dreams satiated.
Stars including Katy Perry, Giuliana Rancic and Victoria Justice are adorning their palms with this statement piece by Prive Jewellery (pictured above right), which is a cross between a bracelet cuff and a tiara. And even this past week, Nicole Scherzinger wore an eye-catching hand bracelet on "X Factor." Would you wear this trend? We want to know. Vote below! (posted by Cody)
