Stylebistro.com asked me to pick six celeb red-carpet hair looks and recreate them by myself. I was given the new L’Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Styling products to work with. It took 6 hours to do all of these hairstyles and photograph every step along the way. You’d think that by the end of the day, having doused my mane in practically every mousse and cream you could imagine, my hair would have had it. Surprisingly, it looked amazing down and had more body and shine than I’ve seen in months. Apparently, my locks like a good cocktail.

1. Set out the hair tools you will need: blow dryer with an airflow nozzle, flat iron, medium round brush, comb with a pointy tip.
2. Add body working in a a dollop of L’Oreal Paris BOOST IT Volume Inject Mousse into palm.
3. Using the pointy tip of the comb, create a clean, deep side part.
4. Blow-dry hair in sections using a medium-sized round brush.
5. Flat iron sections of hair around the face and throughout the shaft to refine and smooth the look.
6. Apply a dime-size amount of L’Oreal Paris Total Repair Extreme Split Ends Fixer to ends.
